Changes Made To Undercard For UFC: 114
The Ultimate Fighting Championship will head home to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada for its next sports betting Pay Per View event, scheduled for later this month, on the 29th of May. The heavily anticipated main event featuring Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights coaches Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans finally stepping in to the octagon against one another, with the entire fight card featuring five alumni from the reality series from over the years. With all the focus on the stacked card, and the conclusion to the tension that has been building over the past few months after Rampage did not fight Evans immediately after their show ended as he was supposed to, instead opting to star in the new film “The A-Team”, it hasn’t got much attention but there has been a change made to one of the matches featured on the undercard at this event.

Due to an injury, Thiago Tavares will be replaced for his UFC Betting fight against Melvin Guillard, with Waylon Lowe to be his replacement. The three-time Division II National wrestling champion Lowe will participate in his first professionally sanctioned Mixed Martial Arts fight, against one of the rising stars in the lightweight division today. Guillard is on a six-fight win streak, including his first round knockout of Steve Berger this past April, and will be looking to drop whoever gets in his way to make sure he extends that streak again.
